The Stage Is Set For America's Got Talent

Michele Frustaci is Stayner, Ontario's, prided singing caterer.  Frustaci was Born in Calabria St. Andre Jonio, Italy.  His fondest childhood memories were when his family taught him to prepare meals, helping in the kitchen, to cook for family and friends. The young boy would start to sing, creating meals while singing songs from Pavarotti, Elvis, Dean Martin, and Frank Sinatra, to name a few.  He found his voice while mixing these genres and saw that many of his loved ones fell in love with his singing voice, applauding him as he cooked meals and belted out ballads. He found not only a passion for singing but also a talented voice.  For years he would mix the sounds of Jail House Rock with a Pavarotti tune, or Dean Martin with Sinatra.  He adored singing into his adult years, where he is always quite fathomed that people are so entertained by his voice. Presently, Michele from MMEA'S caters events where his customers cannot wait until it is showtime, the chef behind the hot stove, is most passionate when he comes out to entertain tables that are filled with happily fed guests.

MMEA'S Catering offers an incredible service of entertainment and authentic Italian Cuisine, though Michele Frustaci and his wife Fiona, have more to look forward to starting in December of 2018 where they will be flying off to Tampa Florida. Michele will be auditioning for America's Got Talent, singing for the most world renown judges, one of the heaviest among them is, of course, Siman Cowell. Michele remembers dreaming vividly of singing on stage. He knows getting a spot for auditioning is a difficult venture, sending in a demo and getting a call to audition was a dream come true. The stage will be waiting for Michele Frustaci, as he practices singing to prepare for his dream moment.  America's Got Talent will air in 2019. We are all so proud of Michele for following what is deep within his heart. I listen to Michele as I visit his place of work, driving up to it once, I hear what I think is a CD, playing possibly Pavarotti, then to see Michele singing the songs that he sang as a young boy.  He tells me when he sings, he feels like he is back home, with all of his loved ones, as they clap and sing along with Michele. He will be taking this memory and his voice to the biggest talent show audition in the world. Good Luck to Michele Frustaci.

The Proverbial Tree In Forest Stuff Part 2

Wow, an answer to a long-awaited mystery! When my Dad would ask me, it felt like an impossible question to an impossible unsearchable answer. This beautiful tree, that just happened to fall one day.
Well, what did it do? Did it fall? Who made it fall? Why did it fall? Someone must have heard something? someone must have seen it somewhere? What did it look like? Was it really in a forest? It may still even be standing and hadn't fallen at all?

Simple question?  The answer though, we have been throughout time become very intrigued.  We don't know because we weren't there.  As I sat in my chair of many chairs, during my time at Brock U, for the next 1.75 years; it was really just all downhill from there.

Pondering; as I sometimes do, always do, in the most irritatingly pondering ways. About that same old' tree in the forest stuff.  I started thinking about people I know, people I love, people I care about;
my family, my friends, my network of great believers. I became curiously driven.

"If Someone Is Hurting, Does anybody see it?"
"If Someone Is Physically Sick, does anybody hear it?"
"If Someone is Happy, does anyone realize it"?
"If someone still Cares, does anybody know?

"If Someone is Tolerant, does anyone feel it?"
"If someone dislikes Someone, does anyone care?"
"If someone has a Mental Illness, does anybody see it?"
"If someone is Scared, does anybody see it?"
"If someone Likes someone does anybody know?"

"If someone Hides, does anybody care?"
"If someone is a Friend, does anybody see it?"
"If someone is Jealous does anybody feel it?"

"If someone is a victim of abuse and bullying, does anybody hear, see, care, know, feel or believe it?"

The Proverbial Tree In Forest Stuff: PART 1

"A Tree, somewhere"
The long admired paradigm about the proverbial "Tree In The Forrest" has many answers; yes, no, maybe, or even; "Who knows, who cares, or I don't even care". The answer being intrigued by our many cultures and life spans, it had always provoked a way of thinking; through theory. Had this, theory been so unimportant through time, it may have been tossed and dismissed as something silly, much unlike a tree, though it survived.  Though that is also a paradigm in itself, is it just silly nonsense to provoke a thought?

A thought pattern or process, to wonder, maybe start to even dream, to ask questions? Perhaps to begin to start to think and use our own minds?  This one tree In the forest that fell though we may not

have known. Though that tree theory sure did make a lot of noise, at least it opens up a dialogue of communication, which I've heard somewhere maybe key.

This whole tree thing, does have many elements and a bit of surprise to many who on the onset, first maybe as young, learning of this said tree that fell that day in the Forest, and then to ask, does anybody hear it? Travelling for two hours, off to Brock University years back, I stumbled upon the correct answer at my first hack at my first lecture.  Years of theorizing, the nature of the metaphor, came to a wondering hault.

The question was asked then again, by a professor, me as a dumbfounded University scardy cat, sitting in the row and isles listening to our professor, which we did hear him loud and clear as we sat in our acoustic,  rising auditorium, that was a definite.  As I really didn't know, the answer to this kinda-caramilk and a chocolate binding question was then unfolded, as "I Don't Know" ....

A Wondering Life

Overcompensating Junkie

I use to think that I was just a giving, nurturing person. That was what I told myself anyway; "I just love to give, I'm a giver, oh I am here to give to you, what do you need, what do you want" With that overcompensating in all my interactions with bosses and coworkers and within my family. I came to understand, the reason I go above and beyond is much more about my feelings of having a mental illness -Bipolar.
With this perspective, it allowed me to feel "good" about my relationships with co-workers, family, and friends. I felt that if I gave my time, my resources, any material gifts, at a peaking constant level, I believed then that these gestures would somehow make me feel included, accepted and valued. Having a mental illness, I realise that the giver in me goes much deeper than just wanting to be accepted and valued. Recently, I was shocked to learn the true reason that my relationships tend to suffer so gravely, how opening my eyes to the conclusion that I am actually, an overcompensating junkie.

At work, I would show up early and stay late. Early would mean two hours early and late would mean two hours late, getting the day started with all my ruffled feathers, believing that I need to do more, be more, function better, produce more, see more clients, make more. All because with me I carried a large and long secret of having a mood disorder.  In a work setting, I would make sure that I would be more
pleasant, make sure that my smile was bigger, my hello's and good mornings would always be cheery, I would show up with brownies and refreshing drinks on a hot day, I would utter sorry every time someone looked my way.  Sitting at my desk, I would answer the phone first, I would even clean and organise the workspace including bathrooms, lunchrooms, collect coworker's garbage. As I went about my day satisfied with my performance, telling myself that I am such a wonderful giving person, this thought would help me feel better about the doormat that I was to become. Hiding my illness with tricks of giving and overcompensating became my way of handling a poorly functioning tool, though I handled my illness well, my relationships I did not.

Overcompensating has been a pattern of mine since I turned 21, finding myself in the hospital, leaving with a diagnosis of "mentally ill".  That was when I decided to turn on the giving charm, I reinvented myself, I said yes often, I lost my ability to think for myself, I started to care what everyone thought of me and would act in a way that I thought was expected of me.  Lying to myself thinking that the magic solution I needed to survive was to give away everything.  I told this lie often.

I could only keep up to these pursuits for so long before I would crash and burn.  Over time in any of
these relationships, I became irritated and annoyed with the pattern of my making. At work: "Oh I have to clean the bathroom again I see, well that is enough of this, being used like this".  Not realising that no one was even asked to clean the bathroom, finding out after six months on the job that we actually have nightly cleaners that do this.  What a sheepish embarrassment on my part.  Still, these patterns have crossed through, in and around, sitting hazily in every corner of my life.

I was giving my way to the top, just to feel as though I mattered.  Becoming a disgruntled employee who gives it all away, shutting the door, confused not understanding why?  Meanwhile, showing up two hours early certainly makes a great employee, but not a long lasting one.  The pace I was keeping, overwhelmed with the demands that I put only on myself. I would walk away from these
relationships, these jobs, the places I lived, towns and cities. I would, to start fresh somewhere else, hoping it will all be different this time. Not ever realising that I created these unhealthy dynamics.  For so long it puzzled me as to why I always felt used, allowing myself to be used.
Overcompensating became a self-sabotaging pattern that I created.  Waking up in a hospital bed at the age of 21, leaving that bed with my bags and Bipolar would create this.

Knowing this has been a rescue! Today I am able to have and maintain many wonderful and encouraging relationships.  They have been created out of care and nurturing instead of compromising them with my poor charm methods of giving.  Knowing that I am valued just for showing up, not having to do backflips to keep a friend, a job or important family member. Not needing to show
my worth has been an incredible and glorious understanding in having loving, positive, wonderful, gratifying and satisfying relationships.  That I am sure will be long lasting, as long as I don't volunteer to clean anyone's bathroom inappropriately, I am sure these relationships will outlast my ways of overcompensating.

Art Speaks In Stayner, Ontario

In history, in society, in books, in towns, found in rare antiques, on Television, in movies, Yes; On the Internet- but of course; at your corner store, around your finger, hanging from your ear, in your hair, wrapped around you, at libraries, worn on your shoe, worn on your laces, on your dinner plate, worn on your coat, choreographed by, graphics by, illustrations by,  hung on the wall, listened to, danced to,
in heritage buildings, crafted by, performed by, written by, in museums, in galleries, at the hair salon, sung by. So this Artsy stuff, what is it all about?

I would say, from the above short list that art is found everywhere.  Art is life! Where somehow it is reflected by the many artists who create it.  Artists are a pool of people who are individuals with a whole bunch of character!  Artists are bread on reason, hope, thoughtfulness and vision.  Then it is contemplated while in creation. A hope for beauty in today and tomorrow, mirrored by the past.  Giving the artist and our society a glimpse of what a beautiful world that we can create.  For a long time, it gave me personally a reason to live.  It is seen as a reflection or image, a portrayal, of a thought or an idea.

Then somehow, with these traits of character as an artist, they begin to recognise themselves and
others and the world that is then truly blessed all around.  With a mistaken brush stroke. a piece of broken stained glass, a step to the right instead of left, art then takes form and the mistake -looks better actually!  A mistaken cross stitch that looks actually kinda cute and coolish. Only to the artist,
these imperfections are gruelly seen.  The heart is open, ready to engage; maybe-hopefully?  The courage, this courage is braved forward, and forward and forward again to a point where the artist has no hesitation but forward motion, in a collective pool form.  Where somehow with this fierce artists
soul, one artist meets another artist and another and another.  This is where culture is born, and without these souls, this collection of thoughtful individuals, who believe enough to care, creates a culture where once it could not be seen.   One thing I know for sure about art, as somehow favourably, I am no expert.  Artists, love and care and even nurture each other, with every step, every brush stroke, every colour and with any and all mediums.  I would believe to say more than any other part of society out there, there should always be art.

"The journey is followed by the artists who create if nothing else but beauty, wonder and intrigue. With a mindful motion, at times hand in hand, at other times, side by side, even others only to be seen, merely -though felt no differently". Tamara Thompson

How could one be born without the other, how could one get along without the other?  Where gossip is truly futile in its attempts to mock, where there is really no valid competition as it is not a category that artists relish in. Artists love to be amongst beauty, the stirring soul of the artist is ignited through
beauty, call it nature.  Art and the artists are a brave bunch, seeing themselves in that beauty, takes years of skilful practice in many forms and possible attempts.  That with which, is created becomes -more so, felt most times. thought about immeasurably; an intrigue then perplexes many.

With so much of a gregarious nature, the artist is found and the artists live each day presenting to the world a unique part of existence, reputable from within.  To say, or believe that artists ride against each other is brash in any form.  I will say that in the trueness of art, there is no battle, not for attention or glory, there is no such reason to be that.  The artist creates magnificently from the core having a great desire to express.  The only message forth then is of thoughtfulness.  As such the bonds grow in the closeness of art and culture.  The growing artists are supported, by each other- time after time, piece after piece, year after year and step after step.  It is then most times, rocketed forward into the far and fine future.

For me just a lowly writer, art is built on the thoughtful nature of practice, preparing, building, creating, clapping, standing, honouring, handshaking, trembling, bowing, quivering, laughing,
knowing, loving and teaming, starting, beginning again, though not stopping.  Confused with what art is as a collective?  "It is seen in a community, which then can be built for the better, if by art and artists alone". -Tamara Thompson.  With that, art is not and sometimes never perfect, there are no fierce judgments by the artist to the artist, the artist does not gain by having compelling gossip within or shared in between, with art, there is no unfair play, the artist holds many and a lot of truths, with the honesty of the presentation, art is seen; first it is born.

To think anything less of an artist or their medium that is always creative is not much of a hot topic... To have taste in any art form is then, the reality of any individual, and the only question is "DOES THIS SUIT YOUR TASTE"? Knowing that a community can be built high if only by the esteemed artist.

This Broker Raises The Bar.

When you meet someone like Fiona Frustaci a Bardeau Insurance Broker, you know you are not just in great hands, her high standards for delivering excellent service along with her work ethics are above par and genuine, you can literally feel how much this Broker truly cares. She has worked in
Fiona Frustaci
Registered Insurance Broker
this industry extensively when she started out only at 17 years of age as an agent secretary. She was able to draw from her experience, later working at another firm, her professionalism and her business knowledge were highly and expertly developed. Fiona enforces a vast amount of trust infused with integrity, this stemming from a deep understanding of many varying situations; handling each case by case, adding a personal touch with every insurance package. With a tone of delicacy, you feel like you are her one and only client, something I have never experienced when speaking with a Broker. Low and behold as I took my time getting to know this business and Fiona, I too was in need of insurance. Throughout, I had the most pleasurable customer experience.

Fiona is a proud and loving Mother to Candice Born in 1984 and Colin in 1985. Both are highly successful and hardworking. Her daughter has many artistic talents, as well she happily enjoys her career as a Wedding Planner, Fiona then laughs to herself telling me; "I'm not sure where my daughter gets her artistic flair from?" Though as I look around her office there is a decoration of many prestigious awards, certificates and achievements. One that I can tell she is very proud -placing First in a public speaking contest from the Toastmaster Association.

Usually, when getting insurance I would call a 1-800 number, then press #2 to speak with an insurance agent, press #5 to either stay on hold or press #7 to get a call back in 23 minutes.  Fiona takes the time to get to know her customers.  During one of her business calls, speaking with a client, I assumed immediately she was speaking with an aunt, a cousin or sister.  Little did I know that Fiona takes an approach of responsiveness and of assurance.  Fiona is never in a rush, her thoughtful way of engaging with her clients is pragmatic and significant to the way she handles her business.

Next door to Fiona's Insurance Brokerage is Fiona's husband, the love of her life, Michele the Owner and Operator of MMEA'S Catering, he works cheerfully, singing songs from his origin, filling a long list of catering orders. The frying pan is sizzling, the scent of the most authentic Italian seasonings whisks the air, you can almost taste the savoury spices and flavours, as Michele makes the most delightful Italian lunches and dinners. Where his motto is "You Eat It, You Love It."  I can see that both Michele and Fiona have the same business outlook of integrity with an exceptional sense of mindfulness, directed by the same professional passions.
I asked Fiona what her favourite client type is? Her reply was; "I feel the most sympathy when a client calls and is going through a separation or divorce, I lend an ear and am happiest when I can cheer them up with a great insurance, a bit of advice, and friendly support.  It makes me so happy that as a Broker, I can make a difference. One of my favourite parts about this business is when I can save client's a money, expressing that she once saved a client $400.00, I am sure this client too, never looked back.

In between client meetings and calls, Fiona lends her support to her husband, taking catering orders and filling them.  On the weekends or after hours, you will find this loving duo, at trade shows or at Stayner's Farmers Market, with tastes of Italy.  Where Fiona's favourite part of her business is in saving her client's money while making a long-lasting connection. Micheal's favourite flavour is in the mastery and finesse as he cooks up the succulent tastes of Italy. Where his moment to shine is in noticing his customers light up enjoying yummy recipes.  Fiona blew me away with her business practice. Her model of delivering outstanding customer service is exceptional, with her friendly and
compassionate heart, you sense that you are her one and only client.  I have noticed that for this Broker every day is a celebration, where being honoured with winning awards, receiving high recognition and accolades are steadfast and almost given on a daily basis.

When Fiona is not winning business awards or finding her clients the most outstanding insurance packages, you will find this dynamic businesswoman at home with her most adoring and beloved "Bella" her little dog that when she speaks of her she lights up with joy and love. Congratulations Fiona from Bardeau Insurance Brokerage for winning this month's best business award in Stayner, ON.

The Art Of Revival

Shannon Smith has a designers heart where even as a young girl growing up, her mother would find Shannon redesigning a whole room just to create something new and fresh. Creating a space into
something distinctly different each time, where her mother who saw this natural artist at work would jump in to join her, changing out light fixtures and helping her daughter reconstruct her bedroom.  I can picture it being a proud moment for Shannon’s mom, with such endearment. Shannon’s mother loved a beautiful home, filling it with fresh flowers and tasteful designs. Easily Shannon's success has been inspired by her childhood and by her mother's exquisite taste. Where this artist who also breeds horses, professionally tends to them, riding them every day, giving the horses proper care and devotion.  Surely, this level of artistry and quality leaves an impeccable taste of brilliance for a lifetime of sublime pleasure into the homes of her customer's as a real prized piece.

A good friend of Shannon asked her to refinish a design project for her. Shannon took on that task and never looked back. Since, she has had the pleasure to ship her designs locally, to Australia and to France -for people who have the same desire to install a fresh new appeal. Her pieces are infused with love and marked with detail.  Her repeat client base is strong, this even surprised Shannon as

she feels she completely fell into this passion, “which is not a job to her it is a labour of love”. Her favourite colours to use are of bold yellows, greens and blues, she also favours white and lighter accent pieces, both adding a strong sense of charm, elegance and beauty. Each piece has a life and energy of its own. Shannon can see this in its purest form, prior to painting, refinishing and creating show stopper furnishings. Shannon looks upon it with love and a sentimental eye.  She wonders “how old is this piece, where has it been, who owned it, she looks to its character. Then with her desire from within, it permeates coming from her love centre, her passion is stirred, she then creates. “I want to make the most stunning recreation for my customers, I picture them walking into a room, seeing something that is sentimental perhaps, where they can keep "Grandma’s dresser" for the years to come".

Refining furniture is this artist's happy place, in the summer months, she is able to paint in a studio set up by her and her husband. She has the doors and screens wide open enough to let the warm breezes of summer come through, she has her favourite music playing, setting the piece on a bench that her husband made so that she won't hurt her back.  She can hear the crickets as she paints in the evening hours. In the winter months, her home is sometimes stacked with different stages of design. She immerses herself into the task, feeling joy and contentment as she sands, paints and distresses, adding her artistic touch with a modern flair.  Always looking for new ways to develop

charming and elegant fine furniture. There have been times within her collections of works, that have such eye-popping appeal, it becomes hard to let go of.  In her letting go process, she will stage the design then she will take photographs. She becomes enamoured with her truly accomplished masterpiece, with complete satisfaction she lights up when her customers are joyed with the look that whelms them.  She is able to see how happy her restorations make all of her clients, knowing that they will love its remarkable beauty just the same. Shannon's husband is a big part of Country Revival, as he is able to pick up and deliver many of Shannon's custom work.  It is safe to say that Shannon has far surpassed the one dollar decor sponges from the 90s fashion of amateur splatter and decoupage. I certainly put whatever soaky spunge that I had accumulated down in a rather quick flash; knowing that what was needed for these restoration projects is a deep-rooted talent. Such masterful creations derive from a spirit and essence of cultivated perfection. It is fine furniture with attractive, bold hues driven by passion, each piece gives a statement and character of pure victory.
The feelings, while she creates, are of revival. "It is plain to see that this comes so natural for Shannon Smith, just as a cacoon grows into a butterfly, her customers' favourite furnishings turn from well loved, to rediscovered into a fresh and new masterpiece of delight".

"I can definitely see Shannon's Country Revival collections on any of the home designers networks, with her custom work that is rich with originality and distinction.  I am almost positive that her furnishings would enhance any staging project leaving it blooming with ambience. Shannon has a passionate soul that has an appreciation for detail and decorum. I am very sure that her style would complement any space in any home. Shannon leads with integrity and is always mindful of this aspect, carrying her projects forward; leading with this conviction.  She will always do her best and feels that "if you can do something make sure to do it right if you can't, that too may need some reflection". This artist brings excellence into her work, inspiring many homes with beauty, where these can breathe a new life, again".

Tapping For Triumphant Success

Have you ever fell out of a tree and bam, smash into the ground?  Egad, it hurts.  What about speeding down a mogul ski hill, and almost being hit by a bus?  There I was long ago on a ski trip for first-year students, a trip to Quebec City, Canada skiing Sainte- Anne. The expert skiers asked me to join them on their excursions to the moguls.   I femishly and reluctantly sputter;  "Uh Eh Uh Eh, nope, can't do it"   I was certain that my favoured, mid-level ski hill
that didn't offer insanity would get me through the last day of our trip.  Ten minutes later I was flooring down moguls somehow able to handle the bumps, in my new style of a wobbling and freaking the heck out motion.  Once I reached the bottom, I missed a turn.  It seemed to me that if I headed to the right, I would be on a ski lift, straight back on another ski run, right from where I started "Uh uh, no way."  I thought fearfully, I just wanted to run, forgetting these mogul enthusiasts.  I was flying straight forward with such purpose, wanting to lose these expert thrill seekers and their silly antics.  My first time on intrepid moguls, though somehow I handled fine, then; Whammo, a spill off of a 3.5-foot cliff! Ski's flying and I land onto a semi-travelled road with a touring bus trotting along towards, me at first 20 ft away; inching closer.  Ski's that flew randomly, poles knocked around, me flailing about to gather my things.  I have got to admit I was banged up.  Looking up at my new group of thrill seekers, in good initiation form and fashion, I was in! As I made my way crawling up, ski boots intact; to the top of the cliff.
Kim Chomiak
Wellness Coach
ON, Canada

This gave me a long-standing fear of facing anything remotely ski relating.  Only skiing two more times, then calling it quits on this somehow, glorified sounding sport of disaster.  My fear response became of flight and reasonably, so.  This is what champion Wellness Coach Kim Chomiak helps people with, facing fears from past hurts.  Tapping has been founded and concluded with proper research to play an integral role in the development of an everyday healthy abundant and successful lifestyle. She incorporates the Laws Of Attraction, (a positive frame of energy), with an accomplished type of energy healing therapy called Tapping or otherwise known as the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).  This form of healing offers an impact into the heights of a continuous positive after-effect that is enforced through a process of proper training, guided by an accountability partner.  Chomiak's natural and empathetic abilities as a wellness coach offer this.

Kim Chomiak has been extensively trained to help others through her online wellness program. Her coaching has a strong value in offering a positive lift in boosting the healing process and for clients to take action into gaining strength in a safe and nurtured

environment, allowing for a cared for, recovery process.  Her service and program offer a wellness approach, that lends emotional support for guidance, helping those develope proper Tapping Techniques.  Tapping is a learned form of therapy and can be used as a daily practice or as an ongoing habitual practice.  Her programs have been developed for people who may feel stuck, unwell, who may have been burdened with traumas or for those who are carrying triggers from the overload of an overwhelming and consuming stress.  If you have ever wanted to quit smoking, embark on a new journey, or incorporate a new sense or approach in development, Kim has been trained to be an accountable guide for this.  I asked Kim, what do you tell people who are curious about your coaching or want to know what the Law of Attraction and Tapping can do for them?  Her response was;
"I help people to take control of their body and mind in order to get the results they want".

Dr Roger Callahan, circa 1980, was the founder of the first Tapping method and its strong force in healing energies, where his wife furthered his developments after his passing in 2013.  Since Callahan, there is a multitude of Tapping techniques which have been

developed further by well educated and highly skilled professionals. Kim offers her approach that includes many elements of positive occurrence and reflections, eliminating these personal hinderances.  Through this teaching and training, Kim lends care and professionalism as she instructs throughout this process.  It is for those who wish to eliminate poorly engraved, self-limiting beliefs.  Tapping through this in her program gives a positive growth cycle of unlimited potential.

I noticed in Kim that she possesses an urgency for care that is unequivocally undeniable. Her thoughtful approach to coaching is full of encouragement.  She is there as your personal online accountability partner, guiding those through a transformational process, through the practice of daily Tapping, all while overcoming self-limiting beliefs, her program is formatted to help those forge through negative barriers.  Some that may have hindered and limited personal progress, from past life traumas. It allows for a healthy mindset while properly reclaiming ones potential.  Leading with a truly positive and right self-image, an accountable wellness, that can lead to success in many forms.

These traumas may have bound us to them, perhaps creating disease within our bodies and throughout our energy field.  These negative blocks are stored in our subconscious and act as a source of our energy.  Ultimately by Tapping, it balances this energy to a natural state of calm.  It is safe, non-invasive and easy to add to your daily rituals.  A wellness coach can instruct this ongoing process.

Our dearly loved and deeply appreciated soldiers and heroes are and have been taught these Emotional Freedom Techniques when they come home to their country and prior to being reacquainted with their beloved families.  Where life can be lived, allowing for healing while releasing deep-rooted pain and fear.

"Personally, I truly believe that the concept of energy and healing energies is so relevant, also quite powerful".  Energy healing has positive effects not only spiritually and emotionally, also mindfully, physiologically and physically.  Myself, as a certified Reiki practitioner, Hot Stone Therapist, and as well as an Egyptian Reflexologist awarded through the Naturopathic Medical Association, I have been a witness to the miraculous ways that many people have been able to gain in a natural healing, leading with the paradigm of alternative medicine. On our own, we are learning that if we can fuel positive energy through thoughts, beliefs, words and actions, and from the positive forces universally, that with restored faith and a belief, there is healing, Kim can coach client's through this process.

Recently taking Kim's program, I was able to recognize exactly what has been preventing and limiting me from a very certain area of personal growth.  Priorly I felt a lack.  Simply becoming aware of what I could not realise on my own, has been an utter amazement!  Having this new awareness is a true course in recovery.

Kim offers programs such as: "END PROCRASTINATION NOW" "KIDS CAN TAP TOO!"  "RAISE YOUR VIBRATION WITH TAPPING" & "DECLUTTER YOUR LIFE".

I was gladly shown the power of healing through synchronistic energy  "I knew it could not be pure coincidence while speaking with a friend a few weeks back.  She introduced this topic of Tapping through an online group session for healing.  She spoke of how doing this served as such a miracle in her life; restoring her faith, belief and wonder;   While speaking she had asked me to pursue this particular tapping with a course online, from a Tapping coach who lives in Australia.  Then straight out from the mighty Laws Of Attraction and of all the positive wonder, the very next day I meet Kim Chomiak, -a Tapping Coach. who happens to live just a few minutes away from myself.  I was once again struck with the awes of an inspiring message from the universe.  A nice message reminding me that there is a universal light energy and with that, there can be healing, peace, harmony and faith; restored.

Kim Chomiak
"I'd say she has skills!"
"My most favourite thing about Kim and her program is in her non-judgemental approach to inclusiveness.  Kim understands deeply that we are all deserving of peace and healing.  She measures everyone as already successful, already healed and already triumphant.  Having that professional connection is important to me. Without judgement or suspicions of possible poor human nature.  Her undoubtful encouragement is quite remarkable!  Her calming presence and her soothing voice speak of empathy, her acceptance is riveting.  I have begun to notice that Kim may just be my mirror image.  Speaking with her is like listening somehow to myself, for this, I can't help but smile"!

We Busted Out For A Vision

Creating Our Industrious
Vision Boards at
EXIT REALTY
WELCOME HOME BROKERAGE
It was a cold, dark and bleak January evening. Our small town was dull with Christmas behind us, most of us itching for companionship, craving to begin our 2018 new year wishes. I was yearning to connect with my small town tribe. I turned to a page, to an invitation to a night of just that. It was an invitation from Tamara and Larry Culham from EXIT REALTY WELCOME HOME BROKERAGE to spend the evening creating the very enterprising and aspirant Vision Board.  Relief quickly sank in. "Get me out of this house, grab my coat, let's go now!"  Immediately I realised how being cooped up for winter was sapping my spirit.  The Canadian hibernation was real and being invited for a night of cut and paste, crayons and markers, glitter and glue sticks were precisely what the Dr. of cold and drab ordered. The snow on the ground was crisp, the air stung and bit my cheeks as I slipped and slid over to our first annual vision board community event.  I sat down where the people were. I relished in what I saw before me. There were people, my people, they had faces, nice faces, new faces, different faces, faces not covered by dark or buried by heaps of snow.  I became eager to use my crafty tools for creating my vision for 2018.  I picked up my orange colour, childproof preschool scissors meant for recreational nights of cut and paste; my desolation drifted.  I joyfully escaped into my vision board, happily sitting with the other resourceful women.  All of us seemed immersed in the industrious task of the night's activity.  I then heard a voice!

Sitting across from me was my new ally Sandy Philp. As I peeled away the crafters glue stuck from the palm of my hand, Sandy asked what my collaged visions were all about, and what my dreams were?

"Huh?" My desolate tongue still not able to fully speak in complete word format, I shook away the cold of icy isolation. I had to verify that Sandy was speaking to me directly, being cooped up for months as a Canadian, seems to have a tremendous effect on our ability to grasp one on one conversation.  Once I realised that the questions were formed towards my direction, I was able to have my first conversation with a female companion in 2018!

Juice Plus Whole Food Nutrition
My spirit came back to me and as Sandy and I spoke of her dreams and mine, we began a fond friendship.  Sandy told me about her grandkids, her love for them, and how she hoped for their dreams to come true.  Images of her grandkids were pasted everywhere on her vision board.  Sandy explained to me that her grandkids were one of the reasons that she joined Juice Plus, a network marketing company four years ago.  I loved Sandy's stories about her grandchildren, it was endearing to hear such tenderness from a grandmother, the love for them was imminent.  Really though, I was much more enamoured with the reverence that I was actually forming a bond and friendship. My vision for 2018 was set.

I got to know Sandy over the winter of 2018, we spoke many times over social media, we got together for coffee dates sipping chai lattes, we wondered how our lives would change, knowing they already had.  And as many times that we liked and loved each other's posts, our fond friendship grew out of a vision board.  It was the night we busted out of our groundhog existence and joined in the company of new friendly faces.

I asked Sandy more about Juice Plus. I was interested in learning more about her dreams, what inspires her and how the whole food source has helped her and others? As she shares information and education about Juice Plus, its many health benefits, which have no side effects.  Sandy is the first choice as an aid offering educational support to all who are hoping for a life change that offers an increase in better health habits.  Juice Plus bridges the gap of what you should eat, it comes in four bottles, with 32 Fruits, Vegetable, Berries and a new Omega Blend.  She has seen how it helped her husband almost immediately after taking the fruit and vegetable whole food, relieved to see that his blood sugar levels returned to normal.  She watches as her grandkids become better students, eager, alert and ready for school, performing at escalating levels after introducing the healthy chewables into their morning routines, at home and before breakfast.  She sees friends who decide to include this health aid become stronger, more focused with an increased lifestyle nourished with energy. Sandy lends support to those who are not wanting to take pharmaceuticals, she teaches about the many ways that Juice Plus adds to the support of a complete and strong physical health.

I asked Sandy, what changes she and others notice when including Juice Plus into their daily intake of nutrition.  "There nails become stronger, their hair more full, they become more active and involved in life, their allergies are ridden, people are getting better sleep, and their health concerns start to fade."  Sandy explains that she loves helping people with their health concerns, educating them and watching their health return to normal, this is her most valued part of being a Juice Plus Virtual Franchise Owner. It comes in the form of a capsule and as a soft chew available for children.  Each consisting of the proper nutrients that Fruits and Vegetables, Berries and Omegas are packed full of. It is a whole food that is full of essential vitamins and minerals, giving balance and proper nutrition that our lifestyles sometimes won't allow for. For example, the Omega blend supports the broad array of health benefits especially for the heart, the brain, joints, skin and eyes. With 36 researched studies conducted along with Doctors who have been supporting patients in the use of this whole food, offering them more value and support for those who wish for an alternative to health. Doctors are seeing great strides in their patient's health and wellness and are actively responding to those who wish to include Juice Plus as an advantage for an active and well-balanced lifestyle.

For me as the winter snow has melted, with a few chai lattes shared, with many hugs and well wishes of friendship, Sandy has offered me as her ally and aid.  Where she recognizes the value of enriching lives with the benefits of using Juice Plus.  Her vision is to educate and to share her and her families success in health since becoming part of the Juice Plus family.

It was only a week ago, during my morning ritual of connecting, commenting and posting in the usual pages of our social media.  I wrote a "fun" inspired post about my longing to find a journal, but how I was having a difficult time finding an attractive shopping source that would cure my craving to journalise.  In plainer terms, "Our town doesn't have journals for sale..."  Sandy must have read my pleas and during one of our networking meetings of circle and trust, she gently drops a journal placing it quietly on the table in front of me. The notepad was full of space for me to scribble in.  It immediately brought me back to the night where we crawled out of hibernation, to sit with our bustling vision boards, also placed gently on the table before us.

Sandy Philp
"With a vision of health
for her family and friends"
We had a great time that night creating our vision with glitter and glue and our handy, yet practical preschool child-proof scissors. Where at that meeting what we created was far more than a dream car, what we mastered that night was a lasting and true friendship infused with the satisfaction of complete companionship.  What happened that night in the bleak and the dull of the winter, was two women busting out, forming a bond! Where that bond was perhaps and in fact our vision.  Sandy leaves an imprint of trust in health and wellness, she is truly empathic and a friend who cares. One who will be an ally and aid on your journey of all that you envision.  With the help of Juice Plus and the lofty creation of our vision boards, Sandy is one who I would consider an antidote to health, happiness and in the joy of friendship.
